John Wesley and the Founding of Methodism

In 2003 the world celebrated the 300th anniversary of John Wesley's birth (1703–1791). The Methodist Church UK website covers the early history of Methodism. I also noticed that Charles Wesley is no longer being ignored as a co-founder of the movement. UMC.org continues the history with the beginnings of Methodism in the United States.
